And i don't fucking love music, i just use it to escape!

We have no Eyedea
Unfortunately this morning i found out that back in November, one of my favorite MC/Battle MC/Freestyle/poet Eyedea passed away.
Dude was rockin the stage at the early age of 17 touring America with Atmosphere, murdering suckers who would battle him, draining eyes with his poetry. what a shame.

Back in 2001 there was Filipino dude (who i later found out went by the name of Son Cleva) who i would often hear scratching records in his garage, my ears were curious and i was hoping to make a new friend, i tapped on his garage door and introduced myself and expressed that i liked what i was hearing, funny thing about that kid was he would always scratch in his garage, and when i heard so that was basically an automatic calling for me to come by and admire this new exposure to hip hop he had introduced me, thanks to him i came to appreciate the world of Underground Hip Hop, not only that but he also introduced me to some really good Jungle, Drum and Bass. i asked him to make me a cd of some good hip hop and one of the artists that stood out was a spoken word performance by this very Artist entitled "Even Shadows Have Shadows".
Check it

and a gross slaying of Emcee displaying, when Eyedia grips the mic, there is no playing, just a straight brutal war unleashed have a glance at this now extinct lyrical Beast

Short Film

here is an inspirational True Story about some kids who lived on a little island in the south of Thailand called "Koh Panyee". It's a floating village in the middle of the sea that has not an inch of soil. The kids here loved to watch football but had nowhere to play or practice. they adored Football (soccer) but had no place to play this sport being that the space in their artificial village was limited, so they take what ever they can and create their own football course and create a football team.

Sup Doc

and finally here is a doc worth watching if you are into the whole Craigslist.com type deal

The community website Craigslist.org has become one of the most popular sites on the internet, boasting 10 million active users and 3 billion pages views per month. 24 Hours on Craigslist documents a random day-in-the-life on Craigslist San Francisco, where what has evolved into the world’s largest community board began back in 1995. An Ethel Merman drag queen searches for the perfect backup band for her Led Zeppelin covers.

What's up Doc!?

Hola!
it's been a couple weeks i think since my last blog. i guess i'm not that much of a blogger at heart then i thought i was gonna be. . . mainly because nothing really interesting happens in my life on a daily basis. there for i lack any interesting material to blog about, but that doesn't mean i don't have some cool stuff to share =).

Melancholic Art

This stuff from Tetsuya Ishida is pretty damn Depressing, i came across this after reading the header for this dudes stuff and it read "Artist Kills Himself (no big surprise after you see his paintings)
now i am in no means some kind of art expert or on Japanese culture but i would consider myself and expert on body language. . . [fat joke] especially since i speak a lot of it [/fat joke]
this dude captures his Melancholy like no other artist i have seen, it's a bit stiff looking and it reminds me of some of the art you would find in childrens book but Dark.
What i interpreted from this is that this dude was not cut out for the average Japanese business man that usually live there daily life momentously and was sick of the grind. i am pretty sure a hug could have saved this dude.
he took his life by walking in front of a train . . . jeez, what a way to go

Sup Doc!?
well, as of recently i have had the attention span to watch a couple documentaries with out breaking in between to check my facebook or red
dit . . . . k that was a lil lie but usually i watch movies in blocks of 15 minute sessions while i eat my food, it's taken me like a month to watch true grit.

so first we have Kurt and Courtney.
i never knew there was a doc that pretty much had the conspiracy that Courtney Love set up Kurt Cobains Death, and it's a BBC doc, so you know you are in for a good watch!
it's very surreal to hear a recording of a 3 year old Kurt Cobain hearing himself on a P.A. and to see the women in the late 90's abuse the red lipstick . . . . so ceral dude.

watch it here!

Cry Baby!
Wah wah wah wah wah wah wah! i have a cry baby, that shit broke, not because ma foot was to many fat, but because it was mistreated really, i still have it i think, but no use for it being that i am a proud owner of a boss GT-3 effect process ped. . . Shich i never use . . . Sigh.
but hey this is a good watch an i assure you there is not a dull moment in this awesome doc.

Leaving Amish Paradise

Another Glorious BBC doc courtesy of youtube, not much to explain here, i am intrigued by the amish and those who want to leave it, this is not about that, this is about those who have been shunned by the amish community for simply having other religious views and for attending a non Amish church.
